School readiness

Games for the year before school and first grade

Short games for the year before school and first grade: counting, attention, talking, fine motor and independence. Teki reads every task aloud, so no reading is needed.

Where should Teki's path start?

  1. Ages 4–5Middle year of kindergarten
  2. Ages 5–6Final kindergarten year, before school
  3. Ages 6–7First grade

You choose where it starts, and every game has three levels, so your child goes at their own pace.

Teki's games are for practice

Your child's teachers and specialists judge school readiness, and Teki doesn't replace their view. The level shows progress in Teki's games. It is not a skills assessment.

Questions parents ask

Is Teki a school-readiness test?

No. Teki's games are for practice, and they don't replace the view of your child's teachers or specialists.

How long should my child play each day?

One adventure is 3 short games, about 6 to 9 minutes. If you want, you can set a daily screen time as a suggestion (5, 10, 15 or 20 minutes), and it never locks anything.

Does my child need to know letters?

No. Teki reads every task aloud, and no game asks your child to read or write letters.
