For parents

Safety and privacy, in plain words

Teki is made for children and run by adults. Here is what that means day to day.

Teki puts a phone into a basket and holds up a red wooden block

The account is yours

Your child gets no account, e-mail address or password. They get a profile with a nickname inside your family.

Only someone aged 18 or over can open an account.

What Teki keeps about your child

  • a nickname, which doesn't have to be a real name
  • a character picture from Teki's own drawings
  • if you like, the year and month of birth
  • a few settings, such as the daily screen time
  • what you played together, and your progress

What Teki never asks for

A full name, a photo, a home address, the kindergarten or the school: the app has nowhere to enter them. It never uses the camera.

Only you can…

All of it sits behind your parent PIN.

  • buy or change a subscription
  • change the settings
  • open anything that leads out of the app
  • set the daily screen time: 5, 10, 15 or 20 minutes, or no limit

No ads, no tracking

Teki shows no ads on any plan. The app and this website carry no tracking code, and we never sell personal data.

Where the data lives

We store data in the European Union. Some of our providers also work in the United States; the privacy policy names each of them.

Your data, your choice

You can ask for a copy of your data at any time and delete your account in the app. Deleting a child's profile deletes their data too.

AI Teki is off until you switch it on

AI Teki works only when you turn it on for a specific child. We never store your child's voice.
